Premiums: 1st – $35; 2nd – $30; 3rd – $25; 4th – $20; 5th – $15; 6th – $5

Pre-Entry: Form postmarked by Friday, July 23, 2010
Arrival: Monday, Aug. 9 by 3:00 p.m.
Show: Monday, Aug. 9 – 6:30 p.m.
Release: Conclusion of show Monday, Aug. 9
RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. Competition is open to residents of Tennessee and/or members of the Tennessee Valley Association of Longhorn Breeders and TLBAA.
  2. All other “Open Beef” rules apply to the Texas Longhorn show.
  3. Exhibitors must dress in western attire. Baseball caps are not allowed.

    10 x 20 pens will be available for you to bring your premier animals to show case your breeding program. You may sell your animals by private treaty. So load them up and bring them on out, sell them, swap stock or just show them off. You will need to bring your own feed and water tubs.

    We will also have a silent auction with items for you to place your silent bids on. All proceeds go to the TN Valley Assoc. of Longhorn Breeders. There will be a guest speaker and other activities. A food booth will be provided by Walters State Ag Expo Center. For more information please contact:

    12 pm Horn Showcase Satellite measuring:

    This event will be held in conjunction with the Fall Fun Day just as in 2008. AN official TLBAA representative will be on hand to record official measurements which will be entered into the Horn Showcase the following weekend in Fort Worth, TX. All animals to be measured must be entered with the TLBAA and fees paid to the TLBAA by designated dead lines. Check with the TLBAA office as to deadlines and costs. Consignment forms for this event may be obtained from the TLBAA.
